Dr. Ed Clifford, FACS, realizes that medical concerns such as breast cancer that require surgical intervention can be overwhelming. Since joining the Surgical Group of North Texas, Dr. Clifford has become well regarded as one of the top breast surgeons in the Dallas-Ft. Worth metroplex. He also specializes in general and oncologic surgery, providing his patients with the personalized, hands-on care that has become the signature of SGNT.

Dr. Clifford's training began with an undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond in Virginia and then medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. Through this, he developed a passion for the challenges associated with breast cancer surgery, which continues to be a large part of his practice today.

Dr.Clifford is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is currently the Chief of Surgery at Baylor Medical Center at Irving. Dr. Clifford is also active in the Society of Surgical Oncology, American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, and American Society of Breast Surgeons, where he has served on and chaired the research committee.
